Reflection Letter
Dear Mr. Carrington,
When I began my research for the multi-genre paper I felt excited, overwhelmed, and anxious. I was excited because I enjoy learning new things and getting to share the information I find with my peers. It was especially exciting to put my information in six different genre categories. I have never displayed my information in this way before, so it was fun to try something different.
I could tell from the start that this multi-genre paper would take a lot of time and effort. I knew I had to manage my time well and focus on one section at a time. I started by gathering all my information and taking organized notes and annotating articles. By doing this, it would be easy to find the information I needed to complete each section of the paper. I made a rough draft of each genre section, edited it, and then transferred the information to my website. This really helped me to see how my ideas and research were flowing throughout each section. The last step was finessing the website and making it look appealing but realistic.
Overall I enjoyed completing this assignment. I learned a lot about my topic and I was thrilled to share my knowledge with others. I hope everyone can take something out of my paper and think about the deeper meaning of the Berlin Wall. After all, it was so much more than just a wall...
Sincerely,
Lily Rashid
